Indian Society for Plantation Crops (ISPC) is a professional forum devoted for sustainable growth and development of plantation crops sector. Established during 1971 and registered under Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 (Regn. No. 6/1972), by now the Society has metamorphosed into one of the premier scientific societies in India.
Journal of Plantation Crops (JPC)
As a multidisciplinary journal, JPC aims at dissemination of research findings in plantation crops (coconut, arecanut, cocoa, cashew, oil palm, coffee, tea, rubber) including cropping system as well as various spices. Started by ISPC from 1973 onwards, 40 volumes have been published so far. The journal is published during April, August & December and publication of the articles is subject to peer reviewing and recommendation by expert in the field.
National / International Symposium on Plantation Crops (Placrosym)
ISPC in collaboration with R & D Institutions in the field of plantation crops organizes biennially the Plantation Crops Symposium on various themes as a forum for the researchers, developmental agencies etc. to discuss and formulate strategies for the betterment of the plantation sector. 20 symposia were organized till 2012 with different themes.
