Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK)

The Krishi Vigyan Kendra for the districts Kasaragod and Alappuzha of Kerala State is functioning under CPCRI.

The objectives of KVK include vocational and skill oriented training in agriculture and allied subjects for farmers, farm women, unemployed youths and school drop outs, training programmes for extension personnel to enhance their technical competence, frontline demonstration of technologies and On-farm trials.

The  KVK for Kasaragod district was established in the year 1993 and of Alappuzha district in 2000.   

KVK, Kasaragod is equipped for testing of soil, water, and plant samples.
